Final Days of the Give Aloha Fundraiser

Good morning!

We’d like to once again thank you for your support of the Great American Fundraiser that ended two weeks ago. Once we receive a tally of how much money we raised from that event, we’ll let you know!

As a reminder, Foodland’s Give Aloha Fundraiser is slated to end this weekend on Sunday, Sep. 30!  The great thing about this fundraiser is that the value of your donation is enhanced due to Foodland matching a percentage of it! Just bring your Maika’i card to any Foodland and tell them that you’d like to “Give Aloha to Kaimuki Middle School Music Department (#78810)”

All monies directly benefit your child in the form of transportation, sheet music, concerts, competition, etc.  We are hoping to raise at least $7,000 from the Give Aloha event!

We thank you for your consideration!  Should you have questions, please let us know!  Have a great weekend!

Final Day of the Great American Fundraiser

Good morning all!

Today is the final day of the Great American Fundraiser.  If you’d like to place an order, please submit your forms to your music teacher today OR place your orders online at the following site:!  Thank you!

We are also halfway through our Give Aloha Fundraiser!  Just go to any Foodland and tell the cashier you’d like to make a donation to the “Kaimuki Middle School Music Department” or code 78810. The full amount of your donation plus an additional percentage provided by Foodland will be directly donated to our music program.

Thank you again for your support! Have an enjoyable weekend!

Great American Catalog Fundraiser Ends This Friday

Hi all!

Just a friendly reminder that the Great American Catalog ends this Friday, Sep. 14. The KMS Music Department receives 40% of all sales from this fundraiser. Both the Give Aloha and the Great American Catalog fundraisers are our only two MAJOR fundraisers this year. If we are successful with these two campaigns, we won’t need to worry about other fundraisers this year.

Besides the browsing through the physical catalog that was provided to you at the Music Open House, you can also shop online here:

Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you in advance for your support of the KMS Music Department!

Foodland’s Give Aloha Begins Today!

Hi all,

September is Give Aloha month at all Foodland supermarkets!  Any contributions made to the KMS Music Department (Code Number 78810) through Foodland using your Maika’i card will be increased by Foodland and Western Union’s generous, charitable program.  This, along with our Great American Catalog, are the major fundraisers for our music department. If you are able to donate, we’d greatly appreciate your support!  Don’t forget to keep your duplicate receipts and turn them in to your child’s music teacher to receive your donation acknowledgement letter from the school.

The monies raised from both fundraisers help subsidize the cost of equipment purchase and repairs, transportation costs for student, and office supplies for the music department.

If you aren’t sure how to make a contribution at Foodland, the following video shows you how simple it is:
