Winter Concert begins tonight!

Aloha KMS Music Dept Families,

Just a reminder that our Winter Concert begins tonight thru friday @ 6:00pm.
Doors will open @ 5:45pm.

Schedule for each night:

Tuesday, Dec 10 (Beginning Ukulele, Intermediate Ukulele and Chorus)
Wednesday, Dec 11 (Beginning Strings, Advanced Strings, and Concert Orchestra)
Thursday, Dec 12 (Beginning Band Pioneers and Kaimuki Symphonic Winds)
Friday, Dec 13 (Beginning Band Voyagers, Kaimuki Intermediate Band and Kaimuki Concert Band)

Concessions
Each night of winter concerts, various KMS organizations (Volleyball Team, Team Kulia, Team Holomua, Cafeteria) will be selling a set meal as a fundraiser. The meals are as follows:

Chili & Rice, Corn, Drink = $10
Chili Dog & Rice, Corn, Drink = $11
Additional snacks may be sold.

Meals will be sold from 5:00-5:30pm, and you can continue eating during the concert.

Parking
For all nights of the KMS WInter Concert, parking will be available on the front lawn and back field in addition to the regular parking lots.

Programs
Electronic copies of the program will be available for download below. The download password will be on display on each of the 4 nights at the front table near the entrance to the auditorium.
If you would like to download the program prior to the concert, please Contact Us and let us know the name of your child and what instrument they play and we will email you the password for immediate download.

Kahala Very Merry Event pass – Last day to purchase extended to Monday!

Hello all,

If you have not had a chance to purchase the pass yet, the last day has been extended to Monday.

Kahala Mall offers a discount pass that can be used from December 13-December 15 with the following promotions and vendors (https://www.kahalamallcenter.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/KM-VeryMerryEvent2019-Pamphlet-V2.pdf). Each discount pass is $5, with 100% of the proceeds going to the KMS Music Department. If you are interested in purchasing one for the holiday season, please have your child see Mr. Fujio by Monday, December 9th.

Winter Concert and Very Merry Event Fundraisers

Dear KMS Music Families,

Winter Concert season is upon us and there is some important information we would like to share with you.

KMS Winter Concert Concessions
Each night of winter concerts, various KMS organizations (Volleyball Team, Team Kulia, Team Holomua, Cafeteria) will be selling a set meal as a fundraiser.  The meals are as follows:

Chili & Rice, Corn, Drink = $10
Chili Dog & Rice, Corn, Drink = $11
Additional snacks may be sold.

Meals will be sold from 5:00-5:30pm, and you can continue eating during the concert. While pre-ordering is not necessary, please fill out this short survey if you or your family is interested in purchasing a meal, so the cafeteria knows how much food to prepare.

KMS Winter Concert Parking
For all nights of the KMS WInter Concert, parking will be available on the front lawn and back field in addition to the regular parking lots. We are looking to rent portable flood lights to make the experience safer for all of our participants.  If anyone in the KMS Music ohana has contacts with lighting equipment rental companies who might possibly consider a sponsorship, discount, or even just ease of working with the school, please let us know.

Thank you so much for donating to the Give Aloha fundraiser and supporting the KMS Music program! This year, we have raised the most compared to what we’ve raised in the past several years. We are thankful that so many of you care for our program.

Give Aloha Deadline Extended through Tuesday, October 1st!

Great news!

The Foodland Give Aloha program has been extended through Tuesday, October 1st! All Foodland and Sack N Save stores will accept donations until store’s closing. If you are interested in making a donation and you haven’t had a chance to, you now have more time to do so.

Please provide our school code (78810), with your Makai’i card, in order for us to receive a matching gift. Don’t forget to ask for a duplicate copy to turn into your child’s teacher.

Final days of the Foodland Give Aloha Fundraiser!

Monday, September 30, is the last day to donate to the Foodland Give Aloha Fundraiser! Please stop by your local Foodland or Sack N Save to make your donation and providing them with our school code (78810). Don’t forget to ask for a duplicate receipt so that it can be turned into your child’s music teacher to receive credit for your donation.

The monies raised help subsidize the cost of equipment purchase and repairs, transportation costs for the students, and office supplies for the music department.
